What is the Canadian Express Entry Program?
Express Entry is a points-based and absolutely non-biased program for Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that helps them identify and select qualified immigration candidates who are capable enough to establish themselves economically in Canada. How does the Canadian Express Entry system work?

The profiles are evaluated based on various human capital factors and a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score out of 1200 will be awarded accordingly.
The highest CRS score holders will be offered an opportunity to apply for a permanent residence in Canada under Express Entry System.

Programs under the Canadian Express Entry System

Federal Skilled Worker Program

Federal Skilled Trades Program
The Federal Skilled Trades Program has been designed for candidates having skilled trade qualifications and aspire to immigrate to Canada.
Canadian Experience Class
People who have considerable skilled work experience in Canada can immigrate under the Canadian Experience Class program. This also includes work experience gained during a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
Eligibility for Canadian Express Immigration
The candidates will be assessed based on several factors before they apply for the permanent residence in Canada. The candidates must score at least 67 points out of 100 based on the following below mentioned six factors

- Applicants who are holding the highest CRS scores will be invited to participate in the periodically held Express Entry lottery.

Processing time for the Express Entry program
IRCC is liable to processes the submitted application in 6 months or normally less after the Express Entry profile submission.
